🎉 Exciting News: Chromebooks Implementation!

📢 Dear Parents,

We hope this message finds you well. As we gear up for the next academic year, we are thrilled to share an exciting development that will enhance the learning experience for our students at Park Public School.

Beginning in the upcoming academic year, we are implementing Chromebooks for students in grades 6 to 8. We firmly believe that this initiative will revolutionize how our students learn, ensuring they are equipped with the tools necessary to thrive in today's digital age.

🔍 Empowering Student Research:

With Chromebooks, students can access a wealth of information at their fingertips. They will be able to conduct research independently, exploring diverse topics and expanding their knowledge beyond the confines of traditional textbooks.

🖥️ Enhanced Presentation Skills:

Implementing Chromebooks will also enable students to sharpen their presentation skills. Through tools like PowerPoint and Google Slides, they will learn how to create engaging presentations, effectively communicate their ideas, and showcase their understanding of various subjects.

💡 Fostering Independence and Critical Thinking:

By incorporating technology into their learning process, students will be encouraged to think critically and problem-solve independently. They will learn to navigate digital resources responsibly and discern the credibility of online information.

🚀 Preparation for the Future:

In today's digital age, technological proficiency is essential. Introducing Chromebooks early equips our students with the skills and competencies they need to thrive in higher education and beyond.

📚 Initial Rollout and Future Plans:

Initially, we will introduce Chromebooks to grades 6 to 8, with plans to extend this initiative to other grades in the future.

💻 Details about Chromebook Procurement:

Chromebooks will be available to students at a separate cost, which will be shared with you in the coming weeks.

Students have several options for obtaining Chromebooks:

  • They may purchase directly from the School (3 years Warranty, Including Breakage)

  • Alternatively, students can buy Chromebooks from the market. However, if purchased externally, there will be additional license charges. (The School will not cover warranty)

  • If students already own a laptop, such as a Windows device, it may be compatible with Chrome OS. In such cases, the School will install Chrome OS for free, and there will be additional license charges. (The School will not cover warranty)

Please note: The School will have limited Chromebooks available for borrowing. This service is on a borrow-and-return basis, subject to availability.
